He is a healthcare administrator with more than 30 years of experience. Andrey’s most recent position was a Co-CEO and a Chairman of United Medical Bulgaria, the first private integrated healthcare provider in Bulgaria. Prior to that for 13 years he had been a Director of Finance and Administration of St. Ekaterina Hospital in Sofia and of National Center for Cardio-vascular Diseases for 6 years. St. Ekaterina Hospital is the fourth largest hospital in Bulgaria and the largest cardiology and cardiac surgery hospital in the country. It is considered to be the most advanced and modern facility in Bulgaria. Andrey has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from University of National and World Economy, Sofia and a College degree in Medicine. He has specialized in Michigan State University, Institute of International Health and has various other specializations in healthcare administration and management.
